Useful guidelines
SweetnessÂ
The only thing you should remember is that when food freezes it looses some of it’s flavour. So you need to make sure your mixture is sweet enough to withstand the freezing process. In case your figs are not super sweet, you can add some extra honey to the mixture to sweeten it up.
Â
Simply follow these steps:
STEP 1 : wash and prep 10 figs by cutting of the woody stem.
STEP 2 : peel and roughly chop up 1 lemon. Deseed it, but use the flesh..
STEP 3 : Place all ingredients in a high power blender and blend until smooth. (You can add the peel or choose to just use the inside of the figs. In the last case add two more figs.
STEP 4 : Fill ice popsicle molds and freeze them for 8 hours
Storage
Keep in freezer up to 3 months.
