- ginger, about 5 cm
- 100 ml lemon juice Â
- 100 ml water
- 1 heaped tbsp honey
- optional: lemon verbena

Directions
Simply follow these steps in order to make fresh Ginger-Lemon Shot:
Step 1:
Peel the ginger with a spoon by simply scraping the peel off.
Step 2:
Roughly chop the ginger and add to the measuring cup.
Step 3:
Squeeze the lemons and add the juice to the ginger.
Step 4:
Add the water and blend everything together with a hand blender until the ginger has fully turned into a pulp.
Step 5:
Lastly add in a big tablespoon of honey and blend again to dissolve the honey.
Step 6:
Strain through a sieve and enjoy!
Storage
Keeps well for 2-3 days in the fridge, but it’s best enjoyed fresh.Â
PRO TIP:Â
Infuse the fresh ginger -lemon shot with some lemon verbena after straining. Simply add a few fresh leaves and let it sit for a bit before serving.
