Dear Student,

We’re thrilled to have you join our 2 day ON SITE Regenerative Gardening Course! Below, you’ll find all the essential details to ensure you’re well-prepared for your first day.

  • Time: 09.00 – 17.30 daily

How to Get There

• Directions:
  Unfortunately there are not many public transportation methods to our farm. You can take a bus or train to Castelo Branco or Covilha and we can arrange a taxi service to come and pick you up. The taxi will also be able to drop you at the accommodation of your choice in our local area. Please let us know if we should help you with arranging a taxi or overnight accommodation.
  • Important: The driveway to the farm is gravel, so please drive slowly as you approach the entrance
  • Follow the Signs: Look for our “The Farming Chefs” signs along the road, once entering Rua Areal, to guide you directly to the farm.

What to Bring

To ensure you’re comfortable and prepared for the course, please bring the following items:

• Hat: To protect yourself from the sun.
• Warm jacket:  We will be dealing with some grey skies, so be sure to dress warmly.
• Walking Shoes: Comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on uneven ground.
• Comfortable Clothes: Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and that are easy to move in.
• Refillable Water Bottle: We encourage you to stay hydrated throughout the day; there will be snacks and drinks available during the day.
